Dusty rose and sage green plaster texture canvas painting

A band of sage and deep teal, flecked with gold, rides along the upper half of a long dusty-rose field sculpted in plaster relief from end to end.

The rose spreads through the left side and lower half in broad troweled sweeps, mostly horizontal, so the surface reads like wind-combed sand. The green band is more broken, with dark umber hollows and raised peaks that hold the gold. Right of centre, a pale, almost lilac patch opens beneath it, the lightest spot on the canvas. The relief is genuinely sculpted rather than just thick paint, so its ridges and troughs shift as daylight moves.
