About this painting

Branches of pink blossom cross a deep cobalt sky, painted as if you were standing under the tree and looking straight up. The flowers are full, rounded double blooms in rose and magenta, darker at their hearts and lit pale pink at the petal edges.

A long branch runs almost the full width just below the middle, a second dips in diagonally from the upper right, and small slate-blue leaves crowd the top left. The paint is smooth throughout. What carries the picture is the cobalt: one saturated, unbroken blue that leaves the upper right nearly empty and makes every flower against it brighter.

CA#1242 is an original colorful floral painting showing pink cherry or peach blossom branches against a saturated cobalt blue sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Blue this deep needs light on it. In a hotel lobby, a ceiling spot or wall washer keeps the cobalt from sinking toward navy and lets it read from the entrance doors, which makes it a strong backdrop behind a reception desk. At home it sits over a long sofa, best on a white or pale stone wall where nothing competes with the blue. Rose velvet, white marble and polished brass all answer it.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1242 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1242 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is CA#1242 painted from below the branches?

The low viewpoint puts the sky behind every flower. Seen from below, the blossoms stand out against one field of cobalt rather than against ground, buildings or other trees, which is why the pink reads so strongly and why the upper right can be left almost empty.

What are the slate-blue leaves filling the upper left of CA#1242?

Small leaves in deep shadow, either a neighbouring tree or the shaded side of the same canopy, painted blue-grey so they sit back. They close off that corner, give the nearest blossoms a darker edge to stand against, and balance the open cobalt on the right.

Is CA#1242 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1242 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1242 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
