About this painting

A small red cabin sits deep in snow on the right, its roof heaped white, a chimney on top and warm specks of light in the windows, while a violet sky melts to gold behind a dark band of pines. On the left a bare tree spreads thin grey branches against the sunset.

A rail fence runs diagonally from the bottom centre towards the cabin, and two snow-dusted firs flank it, so the way into the picture ends at the door. The sky is smoothly blended, and the snow is brushed in short strokes with lavender shadow along the bottom edge.

IA#1201 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing red cabin in snow with pine trees, bare tree and a purple-yellow sunset sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The cabin is small within the scene, so give the canvas a wall people sit facing rather than walk past: the end of a dining room, the booth side of a bistro, or above a guest-room desk. Rust and burnt-orange upholstery, walnut, wool throws and candle-warm lighting all draw out the gold in the sky, while cold daylight bulbs flatten the violet. It suits a winter-season or ski-lodge scheme without needing snow anywhere else in the room.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, living room and guest room & suite; it reads as cozy & warm and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1201 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1201 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the building in IA#1201 a barn or a cabin?

It is painted as a small red-walled building with a pitched, snow-laden roof, a chimney, a dark door and warm points of light in the windows. Those lit windows suggest someone at home, which is why most people read it as a cabin rather than a farm building.

Does the snow in IA#1201 have raised texture?

No, it is a smooth painting. The sky is blended softly from violet to yellow, the pines are brushed in upright strokes and the snow is laid in short brushwork with lilac shadows. It looks even under raking light, so a lamp shining across it will not pick out ridges.

Is IA#1201 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1201 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1201 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
