About this painting

A broad ochre-brown mass fills the left side of the canvas, its rounded shoulder pressing against a cream channel and a soft warm-grey column on the right. A small burnt-orange shape sits at the top edge, and two thin black lines wander down through the pale gap, one hooking left beneath the brown to run off the edge.

The ochre is not a plain fill: it is dragged and mottled, with lighter streaks and darker flecks, and a scatter of grey-brown dots spills over the cream near the top. A pale sand shape at the lower left softens the base.

MA#1244 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing flat ochre and grey organic shapes with thin black lines, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Pair it with walnut, rattan, terracotta and wool or bouclé upholstery on a limewashed or clay-toned wall: the ochre picks up warm timber and the grey column links to stone or concrete. Under warm evening light the brown deepens toward caramel; in cool daylight the grey and cream turn crisper. In an entry hall, hang it close to eye level so the fine black lines can be followed.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#1244 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#1244 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does the ochre read as yellow or brown on the wall?

Brown, mostly. The large shape is a deep ochre close to tobacco, with darker mottling, so it reads as warm earth rather than yellow. The only bright note is the small burnt-orange form at the top, which keeps the earthy palette from turning muddy.

What are the small dots near the top?

Flicked spatters of grey-brown paint scattered across the cream between the shapes. They break up the plain ground and echo the flecks inside the ochre mass, so the empty areas still have something to look at when you stand close.

Is MA#1244 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#1244 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#1244 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
