About this painting

A lone snow peak fills almost the whole canvas, its summit pushed up near the top edge against a flat, pale blue-grey sky. The mountain is sculpted more than painted: plaster folded into thin, blade-like sheets along each ridge, with soft grey washes settling into the gullies between them.

Light falls from the left, so the left-hand faces are bright white while the right flank drops into grey and charcoal. A second, lower ridge climbs in from the lower right and gives the mass depth. The sky is left smooth and empty, so every bit of relief belongs to the mountain.

TA#1248 is an original textured landscape painting showing sculpted white plaster snowy mountain peak against a pale blue sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Almost all white and grey, it sits quietly above a low, pale headboard, or on a boardroom's short wall, facing whoever chairs the session, where a busier picture would compete with screens and charts. Charcoal joinery, honed stone and blond timber suit it; a warm white wall makes the sky look bluer by contrast. Hang it with the summit just above standing eye level so the ridges keep climbing.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, meeting & boardroom and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#1248 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#1248 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the mountain in TA#1248 a particular summit?

No named peak is depicted. The sharp single horn and broad snowfields suggest a high Alpine or Himalayan mountain in general, painted for its shape and the fall of light across the ridges rather than as a portrait of a known place.

How do the folded plaster edges of TA#1248 change as daylight moves through a room?

The blade-like ridges stand proud of the canvas, so they cast thin shadows that lengthen and shift through the day. In low morning or evening light from one side the peak looks sharp and craggy; under even overhead light it softens into a calmer white form.

Is TA#1248 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#1248 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#1248 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
