You sell wall art online and want hand-painted originals painted to order and shipped direct to each customer

Most canvas dropship suppliers print an uploaded file and post it; their catalogues are prints, whatever the listing calls them 1. iHomeArt supplies the other thing: 1,455 original compositions, each painted by hand for the order in the size and colourway your customer chose, then shipped free and insured with a tracking number to that customer's address in any country. About a week to paint, 3–7 days in transit, minimum order one piece, every piece signed by the painter with a certificate of authenticity.

Who this page is for

You run a wall-art store on Shopify or WooCommerce, or a shop on Etsy, Amazon Handmade, Wayfair or a similar marketplace. You do not want to hold stock, and you do not want to sell prints. Each order you take is one piece, for one customer, in a size and colourway that customer picked, going to an address that is different every time and often in a different country from the last one. You need a supplier who will paint that one piece, ship it straight to your customer with tracking, and give you a delivery window you can print on the listing without apologising for it later.

This page answers the questions that kind of seller asks us. If you buy stock in batches to resell from your own premises, the galleries and framers page fits better. If you are a furniture or decor platform wanting a selected range under your own brand rather than order-by-order supply, read the range section further down; it is written for you.

A note on how we work with sellers, so nobody wastes a week: there is no public price list. The first order is usually a one-piece sample at the normal one-piece minimum, and the enquiries we can answer inside a business day are the ones that name the store, the catalogue codes, the sizes and the finish you intend to list.

Every dropship supplier I find only offers prints. Do you actually paint originals to order?

What goes wrong: canvas dropship catalogues are print-on-demand. The supplier takes an uploaded design, prints it on cotton canvas by giclée or digital process, and ships it in a few days 1. A seller who lists that as an 'original painting' is one complaint away from a suspended shop, and a seller who lists it honestly is competing on price with every other print store. A few painting workshops in China do offer hand-painted dropship 2; what a seller then needs to know is what the piece is, who signs it and how long it takes.

What we do: we hold no stock and we do not print. Every one of the 1,455 catalogue works is a composition that has been painted before; when your customer orders it, a painter at Siji Art Hub in Foshan paints it again by hand, at the size ordered, in the catalogue palette or in the colourway your customer chose. Because it is painted fresh, the things a print supplier cannot do are routine here: a different size, a palette change to match a sofa, a variation on the composition, a panoramic version for a long wall. Two metres and over is normal.

The piece arrives signed by the painter with a certificate of authenticity, and you have progress photos or video from the easel if your customer wants to see the work being made. That is the product you list: a hand-painted original, made to order. It is also why the lead time is measured in days of painting rather than hours of printing, which is the next question.

Will you ship each order straight to my customer, in whatever country they are in?

What goes wrong: a seller's orders go to a different person every time, and a supplier set up for pallet shipments to one warehouse either refuses single parcels or charges for each one. The seller ends up routing pieces through their own address, paying twice for shipping and adding a week.

What we do: third-party delivery is a standard option, not an exception. You tell us at order stage that the recipient is your customer and give us the address; we ship to that address, in any country we deliver to, with no shipping charge on our side. Every parcel goes by DHL, FedEx or USPS, is fully insured, and carries a tracking number that we send you as soon as the piece leaves. You forward the tracking to your customer through your store; the customer sees a courier, not a dropship route.

  • One piece, one address, one tracking number per order.
  • Rolled canvas ships in a strong tube; framed and stretched pieces ship boxed with hanging hooks.
  • Multiple pieces to the same customer usually travel together.

We do not offer blind packaging or a marketplace API, and we do not claim to. The parcel is a signed original from the painter, and the paperwork says so. What we can do is ship it wherever your customer is, every time, at no cost to you.

What delivery time should I put on my listing?

What goes wrong: made-to-order suppliers quote 'two to four weeks, usually', the seller lists two weeks, and every late order becomes a refund request and a bad review that the seller, not the supplier, carries.

What we do: the number to print is 10–13 days door to door. It breaks down as about one week to paint, then 3–7 days in transit by DHL, FedEx or USPS. That window holds for a catalogue work in a listed size, painted in the catalogue palette or with a straightforward colour change. Three things move it, and you should know them before you list:

  1. Approval time. We send progress photos or video stage by stage and continue when you approve. If you want your customer to approve each stage, add the days that takes; most sellers approve on the customer's behalf so the week stays a week.
  2. Commissions and very large formats. A piece painted from a customer's own reference, or a panoramic at 2 m and over, is quoted individually with its own date.
  3. Master works. Pieces by our senior partnered artists run to their own timeline and are not for a printed window; see custom and master works.

Our advice for a listing is to state 10–13 days for standard pieces, add a line that custom sizes and colourways are confirmed at order, and let us confirm the date in writing on each order that is not standard.

What happens if my customer's piece arrives damaged?

What goes wrong: a damaged canvas is the seller's problem on every marketplace: the customer files against the shop, the supplier says 'claim with the courier', and the seller refunds out of margin while a replacement takes another month if it comes at all.

What we do: every delivery is fully insured, and if a piece arrives damaged we replace it at no cost. The mechanism is simple and you can put it in your own after-sales template:

  1. Ask the customer to unpack in front of the courier where they can, and to have 'damaged item' noted on the waybill.
  2. Ask them to photograph the packaging and the piece before anything is thrown away.
  3. Send us the photos.
  4. Have them keep the damaged piece and the packaging until the claim closes.

We handle the carrier claim ourselves and paint the replacement. Because nothing is stock, the replacement is the same code at the same size and colourway, painted again by the hub, so your customer receives what they ordered rather than a nearest equivalent. The same applies later: a piece damaged in the customer's home years on can be repainted to the original specification as a new order.

The full procedure is on the logistics page, which you can link from your own policy page rather than paraphrase.

What can I say about the artist on my listing, and what data do you give me?

What goes wrong: marketplace rules on 'handmade' and 'original' are enforced against the seller. A shop that implies it painted the work, or lists a print as an original, is the one that gets removed.

What we do: every piece is signed by the painter and ships with a certificate of authenticity in the painter's name. So the honest listing, and the only one we support, is: a hand-painted original on canvas, painted to order by an artist at Siji Art Hub, Foshan, signed, with a certificate of authenticity. Sell it as a hand-painted original. Do not sell it as your own work, and do not describe it as a print or a reproduction of the artist's work, because it is neither. Whether that description fits a particular marketplace's handmade category is a rule of that marketplace, and we do not claim compliance with any of them.

What you can say about where it comes from, all of it verifiable on this site: the painters train inside the hub's exhibition programme of more than 50 exhibitions, with professors of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts among the exhibitors; the hub's collection exceeds 11,000 works.

Listing data: every catalogue work has a reference code and carries style, theme, colour, mood, room and orientation tags and its produced sizes in inches and centimetres, all visible on its catalogue page. That is enough to build variant options for size, orientation and colour family. There is no feed or API; tell us the codes you are listing and we agree in the enquiry what you may reuse from the catalogue page.

How an order runs for an online seller

Before you list anything, one round of quoting: send the codes, the sizes and the finish you intend to offer and we quote each within 1 business day. Those figures are what you price your listings against; there is no public price list to look up. Then each customer order runs like this:

  1. You send the order. Code, size, colourway (catalogue palette or a change), finish, and your customer's name and address. Same day is fine; there is no monthly minimum and no per-month commitment.
  2. We confirm. A standard piece is confirmed against the quoted figure; anything non-standard is quoted within 1 business day with its own date.
  3. Painting, about 1 week. Progress photos or video arrive stage by stage and we continue on your approval. Most sellers approve themselves to keep the week a week.
  4. Finish. Rolled in a tube, stretched frameless, or framed in gold, silver, black, white or wood.
  5. Dispatch, 3–7 days in transit. Free, fully insured, DHL, FedEx or USPS, tracking number sent to you on the day it ships.
  6. Delivered to your customer, signed, with the certificate of authenticity in the parcel: 10–13 days door to door for a standard piece.

Payment is against a proforma invoice, with terms available on repeat accounts. If your volume settles at ten or more pieces in an order, the volume tier applies; ask us to requote your range at that point.

What to send with each order

The orders that ship on time are the ones that arrive complete. Copy this into your order-forwarding template:

  • Reference code from the catalogue, for example TA#053 or AA#044, and the title if you have renamed it in your shop.
  • Size in inches or centimetres, and orientation. A listed size is quickest; any other size is painted at the size you give.
  • Colourway. 'As catalogue', or the change you want in plain words with a reference image: a paint code, a fabric photograph taken in daylight, a link to the customer's sofa.
  • Finish. Rolled canvas, frameless stretched, or framed, and the frame colour: gold, silver, black, white or wood.
  • Recipient. Your customer's full name, delivery address with postcode, country and a phone number for the courier.
  • Approval route. Whether you approve progress photos yourself or want them forwarded to the customer.
  • Your order reference, so the tracking number comes back against something you can match.

For the first enquiry, before any customer order, send your store URL and the list of codes, sizes and finishes you plan to offer. We quote the set within 1 business day, and the first physical order is usually a single sample piece to your own address, at the one-piece minimum, so you can photograph the real thing and judge the finish before it goes on a listing.

Where to start in the catalogue for an online shop

Online wall-art demand is residential, so the useful slices of the 1,455 works are the room tags a home buyer searches for and the formats that match the walls they hang on. Living Room carries 855 works and Bedroom 457; Entryway and Hallway 432, Dining Room 337, Home Office 245 and Bathroom 121. Three-quarters of the catalogue is vertical, so if your shop sells above-the-sofa and headboard formats, build the horizontal, panoramic and square slices deliberately: Living Room has 103 horizontal, 97 panoramic and 106 square works.

Every work lists the same size ladder for its orientation: fourteen sizes from 61 × 51 cm (24 × 20 in) to 203 × 153 cm (80 × 60 in) for vertical and horizontal works, eleven sizes up to 127 × 254 cm (50 × 100 in) for panoramic, ten up to 183 × 183 cm (72 × 72 in) for square. Those are produced sizes, not limits; a customer's odd wall gets an odd size. Sixteen colour families and nine mood tags let you build colour and mood filters in your shop without inventing categories. The tiles below are live counts; each links to the catalogue page for that slice.

Also for interior e-commerce platforms wanting a range under their own brand

A furniture or decor platform buys differently from a one-shop seller: a range, not a piece. A category manager selects a subset by facet, loads it once with sizes and images, prints a fulfilment promise and then forwards orders one by one. Two things make that possible here and one thing does not.

The catalogue is already structured: 8 styles, 10 themes, 16 colour families, 9 moods, 4 orientations and 14 room tags, with produced sizes on every work, so a range of 100 or 200 works can be selected by facet rather than by browsing. Fulfilment is order by order to your customer's address, free and insured with tracking, and the printed promise for standard pieces is the same 10–13 days. Volume tiers from 10 pieces are quoted within 1 business day, and a platform's volumes and dates are committed in writing per project; monthly capacity is not published and is answered in the enquiry.

What does not change for a platform: the painter's signature and the certificate of authenticity stay on every piece. The range can carry your platform's name on the storefront, and each work is still sold as a hand-painted original by its painter. There is no feed, API or blind packaging, and we do not put those on a term sheet. If that fits, send the facet selection you have in mind and the sizes you would list; the enquiry route is the same as for a single seller.

Questions online sellers & dropshippers (etsy, shopify, amazon, wayfair) ask us

Will you ship each order straight to my customer with a tracking number?
Yes. Tell us at order stage that the recipient is your customer and give the address; we ship there free of charge, fully insured, by DHL, FedEx or USPS, and send you the tracking number on the day the piece leaves so you can pass it on.
What delivery time should I put on my listing for a made-to-order original?
List 10–13 days door to door for a catalogue work in a listed size: about one week to paint and 3–7 days in transit. Commissions from a customer's own reference and formats at 2 m and over are quoted individually with their own date, so mark those as confirmed at order.
Can I sell these as hand-painted originals on Etsy, Amazon or my own store?
Sell them as what they are: hand-painted originals, painted to order at Siji Art Hub, signed by the painter and shipped with a certificate of authenticity in the painter's name. Do not present them as your own work or as prints. Each marketplace's category rules are yours to check.
What happens if my customer receives a damaged piece?
Every delivery is insured and a damaged piece is replaced at no cost. Your customer notes the damage with the courier, photographs the packaging and the piece, and keeps both; you send us the photos. We handle the carrier claim and paint the replacement to the same code, size and colourway.
Is there a minimum order per month for dropshipping?
No. The minimum order is one piece and there is no monthly commitment; you send orders as your customers place them. Volume pricing applies from ten pieces in an order, so a seller whose volume settles at that level can ask us to requote the range.
Can my customers choose size and colour on my listing?
Yes. Every work is painted for the order, so it can be painted at any size, including two metres and over, and in a changed palette. Listed sizes are the quickest route; a colour change needs a reference such as a paint code or a daylight photograph of the fabric.
Can I see the piece before it ships to my customer?
Yes. We send progress photos or video stage by stage and continue once you approve, so colour and composition are corrected on the easel rather than after delivery. You can approve yourself or forward the stages to your customer; forwarding adds their response time to the week of painting.
Can we list a selected range under our platform's brand rather than order piece by piece?
Yes, as a range selected by facet from the catalogue's style, theme, colour, mood, room and orientation tags, fulfilled order by order with the same 10–13 day window. Tiers from ten pieces and project dates are agreed in writing; the painter's signature and certificate remain on every piece.
