Is this page for you?
This page is written for the owner or buyer of a home-staging company, or a property stylist, who buys art as reusable inventory: ten to fifty pieces at a time, chosen to fit the living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms of the houses you are likely to stage this year, and moved from listing to listing until they are retired. You buy against a per-piece figure, you need the batch on one delivery, and you ask about sizes, finishes and what happens when a piece gets knocked on a stairwell.
The two questions stagers ask first, and that most supplier pages skip, are answered below with the actual numbers: which sizes (the 14 standard sizes every vertical or horizontal work is painted in, laid out as an inventory grid) and which finish (frameless stretched is the glass-free, lighter ready-to-hang option; framed ships boxed with hooks).
Not you? If you are furnishing one show home or sales suite to a launch date, read show homes & sales suites. If you are matching one piece to one client's wall, read residential interior designers. If a single listing needs one very large piece for a double-height wall, that brief is handled on oversized & custom-size art. Property stylists in Australia and New Zealand who buy the same way are this page's buyer too; every order ships free and insured by DHL, FedEx or USPS.
Which sizes work as staging inventory across most homes?
Every vertical and horizontal work in the catalogue is painted to order in the same 14 sizes, so you can standardise inventory on a handful of them and know that any work in the catalogue can be produced at that size. Square works are painted in 10 sizes from 61 × 61 cm (24 × 24 in) to 183 × 183 cm (72 × 72 in); panoramic works in 11 sizes from 46 × 91 cm (18 × 36 in) to 127 × 254 cm (50 × 100 in). Because the catalogue is 74% vertical, it is worth asking for a horizontal size when the work's composition allows it, or choosing a horizontal or panoramic work for sofa and headboard walls; the painter adjusts the proportions, the image is not stretched.
| Inches | Centimetres | Where stagers usually hang it |
|---|---|---|
| 24 × 20 | 61 × 51 | Bedroom pairs, home office, bathroom |
| 32 × 24 | 81 × 61 | Above a headboard, hallway, small living room |
| 36 × 24 | 91 × 61 | Dining room, over a console |
| 40 × 30 | 102 × 76 | Sofa wall in a standard living room |
| 48 × 36 | 122 × 91 | Larger living room, dining wall |
| 60 × 40 | 153 × 102 | Great room, open-plan family room |
| 72 × 48 | 183 × 122 | Double-height or feature wall |
The other seven standard sizes are 48 × 32, 54 × 36, 54 × 40, 64 × 48, 72 × 54, 80 × 53 and 80 × 60 in (122 × 81 to 203 × 153 cm). The catalogue sizes are what has been produced before, not a fixed menu: if your inventory standard is a size that is not listed, say so and it is painted to that size.
Frameless or framed: which finish moves between listings?
You choose the finish per piece within one order, and the three options are physically different things:
- Frameless stretched. The canvas is stretched on its bars and arrives ready to hang. There is no glass and no frame moulding, which makes it the lighter of the two ready-to-hang finishes and the one most staging inventory is built on.
- Framed. Gold, silver, black, white or wood. Ships boxed with hanging hooks supplied, ready to hang on arrival. Choose it where your listings run to a more furnished look, or where a frame protects the canvas edge on pieces that will be handled often.
- Rolled. Unstretched canvas in a strong paper tube, for stagers with their own framer who want to build stretchers and frames to their own handling standard. This is the route our logistics page describes for large formats and long-haul shipping, because the stretching and framing are done locally.
Two honest limits. We do not publish scuff, abrasion or durability ratings, and we will not claim a frame survives a given number of moves; how a piece wears depends on how it is packed and carried between listings. What we can state is the mechanism behind a damaged piece: because nothing is held in stock and every work is painted to order, the same reference code can be painted again at the same size and colourway if one is damaged in service. It will be a fresh original, not an identical copy. Damage in transit is a different case: every delivery is fully insured and a piece that arrives damaged is replaced at no cost.
Will the texture of original paint show in listing photos?
Yes, and it is the reason to buy an original rather than a print for staging. Every piece is hand-painted on canvas; there are no prints of any kind in the catalogue. Brushwork and impasto catch light from a window or a photographer's flash, so the wall reads as a painting rather than a flat rectangle. The styles with the most physical relief are Textured & Plaster (147 works tagged Living Room) and Abstract (244), which is where most staging inventory is chosen; Impressionist (142) and Colorful (173) carry visible brushwork with more colour.
The common advice to stagers is to shop online marketplaces for art and to be aware that listing photographs can be enhanced and may not match what arrives 1. The alternative here is that you see the actual piece before it ships: photos or video are sent at each stage of painting and we only carry on once you have approved the stage, so colour and composition are corrected on the easel, not after delivery. Screen colour and canvas colour still differ; the progress photos are of your piece, not a stock image.
Every work is signed by the artist and ships with a certificate of authenticity, which is worth mentioning in a listing description when the art is part of what a buyer sees.
How does pricing work when I buy in batches?
We do not publish prices, and we do not use price adjectives on this page. What we can state is how the figure is built. The minimum order is one piece, so a sample order carries no minimum. Volume pricing is tiered from 10 pieces per order and is quoted with the enquiry, within 1 business day. Shipping is free and insured on every order, to any country, so the quoted per-piece figure is the delivered figure; there is no separate freight line to add. Payment is against a proforma invoice, with terms available on repeat accounts.
For a stager the practical route is to send the batch as one line per size and finish (for example 12 × frameless stretched at 40 × 30 in, 6 × frameless stretched at 32 × 24 in, 2 × framed black at 48 × 36 in) with the reference codes you have picked, and to ask for the per-piece figure at each line. The whole batch is quoted as one order, so a 20-piece refresh sits inside the volume tier even if it spans several sizes.
The print-on-demand and rental suppliers most stagers already use compete on per-piece cost and same-day dispatch 2; we do not, and we will not present a cost-versus-rental comparison we cannot verify. Where an original earns its place is on the wall that sells the house and in the listing photograph, and in the fact that the piece stays in your inventory for as many listings as you choose to use it.
How an inventory order runs
- Brief. You send the sizes, quantities, finishes and reference codes, or the rooms you stage most and the palette your furniture runs to, and the address the batch should go to (a storage unit or a third-party address is fine; tell us at order stage).
- Quote within 1 business day. One order, one quote, with the volume tier applied from 10 pieces and a delivery date committed in writing for the batch.
- Sample first if you want one. The minimum order is one piece, so a single 40 × 30 in piece in your chosen finish is a normal order. Check it against your furniture and your van before committing the batch.
- Painting, about 1 week. Progress photos or video at each stage, approved by you before the painter continues.
- Transit, 3–7 days. DHL, FedEx or USPS, tracking number sent on dispatch, fully insured. Multiple pieces are usually delivered together.
- On your walls. 10–13 days door to door for a standard piece. Batch orders have their timeline confirmed per project: send the quantity and the deadline and the date is confirmed in writing.
If a piece arrives damaged: unpack in front of the courier where you can and have them note it on the waybill, photograph the piece and the packaging, send us the photos, and keep both until the claim closes. We handle the carrier claim and arrange the replacement at no cost.
What to send us for an accurate quote
The first email is the last clarification round if it carries these six things:
- Quantity per size and finish. One line per combination, e.g. 10 × 102 × 76 cm frameless stretched.
- Reference codes from the catalogue, or a short description of the rooms you stage most (sofa walls, headboards, hallways) and how many pieces each needs.
- Palette. A photo of the sofas, rugs and cushions your inventory runs to, or a few paint codes. Any catalogue work can be painted in a different colourway (same composition, your palette), which lets one reference serve a warm listing and a cool one.
- Orientation preference. Say if you want horizontal versions of vertical works for sofa and headboard walls.
- Delivery address and country, and whether the consignee differs from the invoiced company.
- Date you need the batch, and whether you want a single sample before the batch.
A quote comes back within 1 business day. Send it through the quote form with your role set to home stager; attach the list as a spreadsheet if that is how you keep it.
Where to start in the catalogue for staging inventory
Every work carries three to five room tags, so the counts below overlap; they are views of the same 1,455 works rather than separate stock. For a staging inventory the useful slices are the rooms that appear in almost every listing and the moods that read as neutral-to-uplifting in a photograph. Living Room is the deepest room tag (855 works), with Abstract (244), Colorful (173), Textured & Plaster (147) and Impressionist (142) as its leading styles; Bedroom works tagged Peaceful or Calming number 354; Entryway & Hallway is almost entirely vertical (424 of 432), which suits the narrow wall by a front door or at the top of stairs. Dining Room holds 84 horizontal and 64 panoramic works, the largest pool of wide formats after Living Room. Home Office is Geometric-led (107), which sits well in the study or flex room most family listings now include. Open a tile to browse the slice with live counts, then note the reference codes you want in the batch.

What we do not claim
A stager who has been sent the wrong thing once reads the limits before the promises, so here they are, plainly:
- No stock. Every piece is painted for the order. Nothing ships tomorrow; a standard piece is 10–13 days door to door.
- No prints. If your inventory plan depends on same-day poster prints or rolled giclées, this is not the supplier for that part of it.
- No public prices and no price adjectives. Every enquiry is quoted; volume tiers apply from 10 pieces.
- No durability, scuff or fire ratings. None are tested or claimed for canvas, stretcher or frame. If a listing or a building requires a rating, ask before writing it into a schedule.
- Hand-painted means variation. A reorder of the same code, or ten pieces from one reference, will differ from each other in the way hand-painting differs. The approved progress photos are the reference for each piece.
- Single-piece lead time is not batch lead time. Batches are confirmed per project, in writing, at quotation.

Questions home stagers & property stylists buying inventory ask us
- Which sizes work as staging inventory across most homes?
- Every vertical or horizontal work is painted in 14 standard sizes, from 61 × 51 cm (24 × 20 in) to 203 × 153 cm (80 × 60 in). Stagers most often standardise on 102 × 76 cm (40 × 30 in) for sofa walls and 81 × 61 cm (32 × 24 in) for headboards and hallways.
- Is there a minimum order, and where does volume pricing start?
- The minimum order is one piece, so a single sample is a normal order. Volume pricing is tiered from 10 pieces per order and is quoted with the enquiry within 1 business day. There is no public price list; shipping is free and insured on every order, so the quoted figure is the delivered figure.
- Which finish is lightest for moving between properties?
- Frameless stretched: the canvas on its stretcher bars, no glass and no frame moulding, ready to hang on arrival. Framed pieces (gold, silver, black, white or wood) ship boxed with hooks. Rolled canvas in a tube suits stagers with their own framer. The finish is chosen per piece within one order.
- Will the texture of original paint show in listing photos?
- Yes. Every piece is hand-painted on canvas, with no prints in the catalogue, so brushwork and impasto catch the light in a photograph. Textured & Plaster and Abstract works carry the most physical relief. You also see progress photos of your actual piece at each stage before it ships, not an enhanced stock image.
- How quickly can I get one large statement piece for a listing?
- A standard piece takes about a week to paint and 3–7 days in transit, 10–13 days door to door. Very large formats up to 203 × 153 cm, or panoramic up to 127 × 254 cm, are quoted individually with a written lead time. For double-height walls see the oversized and custom-size page.
- Can I reorder the same piece if one is damaged in service?
- Yes. Nothing is held in stock and every work is painted to order, so the same reference code can be painted again at the same size and colourway. It will be a fresh hand-painted original, not an identical copy. Damage in transit is a separate case: deliveries are fully insured and a damaged arrival is replaced at no cost.
- Can I get one composition in two colourways for different listings?
- Yes. Any catalogue work can be painted in a different palette: same composition, your colours. Send a photo of the furniture or a few paint codes with the reference code, and the recoloured version is approved by you from progress photos before it ships. Both versions are originals, signed and certified.
- Do you ship to a storage unit or an address that is not the invoiced company?
- Yes. Every order ships free and fully insured by DHL, FedEx or USPS with a tracking number on dispatch, and we deliver to a different recipient or country from the buyer on request; tell us at order stage. Multiple pieces in one order are usually delivered together as one consignment.
